Founder’s note.
I’m Kishan Ashok Thorat. I’m a single-founder, full-stack engineer based in Belagavi, Karnataka. I designed the schema, shipped the APIs, hardened the infrastructure, wrote the docker-compose file and answer the support email — for all three KodSpot platforms.
KodSpot exists because the operations layer of physical businesses in India is still mostly paper, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp. The teams running these operations deserve software that respects their time, their bandwidth and their compliance obligations. So we’re building it.
We’re a registered sole proprietorship — UDYAM-KR-04-0179635 (Micro Enterprise · Services), incorporated 01 Feb 2026. GST is not yet applicable — we have not crossed the threshold. We will register the moment we do.

What we believe.
Operations is everything
India runs on physical operations — beds, rooms, panels, kitchens. Software for those teams must work on a 4G phone in a corridor, not on a 4K monitor in a co-working space.
Multi-tenant from day one
A SaaS that isn’t multi-tenant from the schema up will rewrite itself in 18 months. We do the harder thing first.
AI with a budget
Most “AI features” are SQL queries with extra steps. We answer first with SQL, then with LLMs, and always with a token cap.
Compliance is a feature
DPDPA-aligned retention, audit logs, and encrypted PII aren’t a checkbox — they’re what makes a platform trustable for healthcare and hospitality.
